About the Event

This water ceremony and flotilla brings community members together to protect the Great Lakes from industrialization for the next 7 generations, such as the disastrous Line 5 Tunnel.

Come feast on traditional foods and enjoy cultural offerings. We are a multigenerational, multicultural, inclusive gathering to stand up for Nibi and Aki.

We are asserting our Treaty rights. We must protect this area known as the heart of Turtle Island. We are standing up in solidarity to defend our water. Join us and learn about more opportunities to get involved and take action.

We aim to be zero-waste so please bring a feast bundle (plate, utensils, cup) and carpool to the event! Afterwards, head over to the Pow Wow across the street at 1:00 PM for the Grand Entry.
